Denne farverige foldetaske er syet af to ens stofstrimler og en matchende strimmel i midten. Hovedfarverne i tasken er turkis, lilla og pink. Foret er et dobbelt lag indisk sarisilke. Endelig er der et mellemlag af volumen vlies. Tasken har korte stropper, så den er oplagt til makeup,  eller tilføj din egen strop med en karabinhage, så har du en crossbody. Justrerbar strop af kraftig, vævet gjord med karabinhager kan købes separat
Stoffets historie: Alle de flotte strimler er fra min mor, der er en meget dygtig patchworker. Det er typisk i forberedelsen til en patchwork quilt, at der er skæres ekstra strimler og det er så disse jeg har modtaget. Silkeforet er overskud fra den danske designer Siyasaga, der får syet sit tøj i Indien af tidligere silkesarier. Jeg fået input fra min svigerdatter til at sy netop denne og tre andre farverige makeup punge. Alle er til salg her i webshoppen.

Fabric Story – Patchwork Heritage & Sustainable Silk
The beautiful outer strips come from my mother, who is a highly skilled patchworker. When preparing fabrics for a quilt, extra strips are often cut—and these are the very pieces I’ve been lucky to receive. Instead of being stored away, they now become part of a new design with fresh purpose.
The silk lining is surplus material from the Danish designer Siyasaga, who creates clothing in India using recycled silk saris. This gives the bag an added layer of sustainability and global craftsmanship.
Each bag is handmade and one of a kind, combining family tradition, thoughtful reuse, and bold color design.
